Metamorph from Molecular Devices. 
    The software is dedicated to 2D images display and processing. It alows also various measurements as morphometric analysis or fluorescence quantification. For timelapse analysis, cell tracking function is available.


Huygens from Scientific Volume Imaging.
    The software is dedicated to confocal pictures deconvolution. It alows restoration of blurry and noisy pictures and especially improve resolution in Z-axis.


Imaris from Bitplane.                                                                   The software is dedicated to confocal Z-stack observation. It alows different 3D reconstructions and animations (shadow projection, surface rendering...).
It alows also several analysis as mesurements and tracking in 3D.
