 ¤ The epifluorescence microscope: Zeiss Axiovert 200M
The microscope allows imaging in epifluorescence with a monochromatic camera.  Timelapse  experiments are  also possible with temperature and CO2 control.

¤The confocal system: Zeiss LSM 510 META
The microscope allows imaging from single plane in one colour to stacks in multicolors and over time.
Main applications are immuno-fluorescence observations, GFP localisation, 3D reconstruction, timelapse, FRAP, etc....
Spectral deconvolution is also possible thanks to the META module; a multichannel detector which allows dyes with overlapping spectra to be precisely and efficiently sorted into separate images by means of digital deconvolution algorithms.

¤ Image analysis: softwares
Different softwares are available for image analysis like measurments, cell tracking, deconvolution and 3D reconstructions.
